Potluck Dinner: January 14

A potluck dinner will be held after worship on January 14, 2007. Please bring some food to share and stay to enjoy the fellowship. Plates, napkins and silverware will be provided.

Upcoming Change in Sunday Schedule

Starting January 1, 2007, Faith Lutheran Church will adopt a new Sunday morning schedule. This will be a permanent change.

Sunday School and Bible Study will meet at 9:00 a.m.
Divine Worship will follow at 10:00 a.m.

Schonaman wedding

Andrea Schonaman (daughter of Earl and Sheri Schonaman) and Chad Miracle were married on Sunday, May 7, at Oakland Manor in the countryside near Hopkinsville on Newstead Road. Here is the bride on her father's arm at the ceremony (above) and Earl with his two aunts at the reception (below).

Tim Hill Family

The Tim Hill family passed through the Hopkinsville area during January and worshipped with us. They are former members of Faith Lutheran Church and it was really great to see them again. Left to right: Pastor Redmann, Tim Hill, Alana Hill, Bob Junker, Brittany Hill and Teresa Hill.

Wedding Shower

The LWML hosted a wedding shower for Andrea Schonaman in April. Here are all the Schonaman girls: left to right, Emily, Andrea, Susan, and Sheri just before the shower. Sheri is actually the mom though she looks young enough to be one of the girls.

Children's Activities on Easter Sunday

Here are some of the children who participated in Easter morning Sunday School activities. After an Easter Egg Hunt, they watched a video that told of Jesus' resurrection. Then they peeked inside a dozen "Resurrection eggs" that contained various symbols of the crucifixion and resurrection of the Savior, and reviewed the wonderful story again. The children also did some coloring, enjoyed their candy eggs, and enjoyed each other's company.
